Chairs
Chairs can be used in lots of settings, and lots of different rooms. They are, however, usually found in dining rooms, halls, bedrooms, sitting rooms or lounges, and offices. Given that they are found in so many varying parts of houses, there are many varieties of chairs available, each with different qualities making them suited to their needs.
This can make it difficult organising the website so it is easy to navigate, so please bear in mind that you may find what you area looking for in a section you would least expect it. For instance a library chair could be in the Howard and Sons section if it was made by them, rather than in the library chairs section.
Also, everybody has different ideas of what they consider to be a comfortable chair! A Regency dining chair has a low back, a George III dining chair has a high back, a Victorian dining chair could have a padded back - and all have followers or critics in equal measure!
A chair for the drawing room, sitting room or lounge (if you happen to live in an airport) is also a very subject subject. Some like to be supported in the proper way by an upright eighteenth century chair, so if one falls asleep the wing of the chair will support the head and maintain some degree of elegance.
Another would prefer to be more reclined, and what could be more sublime than floating on a cloud of feathers in your favorite Howard chair? Just make sure it is Die Hard IV on the trinitron - in a chair by Howard and Sons you will be asleep before the first 10 minutes of Bridget Jones' Diary! (although maybe you would be anyway)
