This is a very rare and wonderfully comfortable sofa that is not stamped Howard and Sons so is priced accordingly! It has the same siege de duvet upholstery and wonderful feather cushion and sprung arms and back so it is as comfy to lie in as to sit properly! Wonderful little sofa with indistinct stamp to casters (no, it does nt say Cope!) almost certainly made by Howard and Sons for retail by another maker. This is probably the most comfortable sofa that it is possible to find in this diminutive size, English c.1890
