Blackjack Restorations Ltd is a subsidiary of Hares Antiques Ltd. where we restore furniture both for sale and belonging to the general public. The Restoration department is involved with the woodwork and the Upholstery department restores all the soft furnishings, ie armchairs, sofas, dining chair seats etc. In both departments, we utilise traditional methods, construction techniques and materials. We ensure that any work that cannot be completed on site (such as specialist weaving of cane seats) will be finished to as high a standard as we expect from our own staff. Our upholsterers are specialists in difficult restoration, such as the specific techniques required to correctly restore furniture made by Howard and Sons of London.
Blackjack Restorations can also undertake upholstery work on items not sold by us.
